My favourite style of yoga is slow and Intuitive hatha flow. My self practise hugely inspires my teaching. I like to move my body in a way that creates space, eases aches and pains and creates opportunities for self reflection. I find teaching Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga so rewarding. If I had to pick one pose it would be Childs Pose, lengthening the spine and releasing the hips.

My own yoga practice is based on strong breath work and asana, I love arm balances, controlled playful transitions and inversions. My teaching style is based on honing the fundamental principles of yogic movement in order to establish a long-lasting, effective and safe practice. My practice and teaching style are not based on a style, but rather on the idea that yoga is there to bring about a profound and positive change in one’s way of being in the world.

What's your favourite yoga pose or style + why?
I love sitting cross-legged, which is known as padmasana or lotus. It's simple but reminds me of my childhood and it's such a comforting pose for me that I find myself sitting in very often. I feel grounded, long in my spine and it instantly signals me to focus on my breathing.

What's your favourite yoga pose or style + why?
My favourite pose changes throughout the year as sometimes my body finds some poses soothing, relaxing comforting but sometimes I am craving a more powerful stronger asana. I am really enjoying wild thing at the moment- it opens the heart space and feels amazing in all it’s glory.
