What was your journey to becoming a yoga teacher?

Very bizarre one. In a nutshell… I was going through a tough time and in a job that I had no passion for. I loved yoga because it made me feel good physically, mentally and emotionally. It makes me feel alive! One day I went to see a palm reader who told me that I was destined to be my own boss. After practising yoga one day, it suddenly clicked that I wanted to be a yoga teacher. The rest is history.

What does your downtime look like?

Watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer :) or sleeping whenever I’m not practising yoga

If you weren’t a yoga teacher, what would you be?

How does practicing yoga help your day to day life?

It’s easy to be bad tempered when dealing with your kids but moving every day helps me to help my kids deal with their emotions and situations that life throws at us. Yoga in all its forms, shows me that I am more than capable of doing things that I thought wasn’t possible. Above all, practising yoga helps me to breathe and tune into this very moment when things feel overwhelming or tough.
