About the event
Join us for our Summer Solstice Extended Sound Bath, where we will immerse ourselves in an evening of tranquil vibrations and soothing melodies to celebrate the arrival of summer.
Why the Summer Solstice?
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year, a time when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and the Earth is bathed in the warmth of its rays. It's a moment of profound significance across cultures and traditions, symbolising abundance, growth, and the radiant energy of the sun. As we align with the natural rhythms of the season, our Sound Bath offers a space to honour and celebrate this special time of year.
What to expect?
The session will begin with some guided meditation  and breathing techniques, to ease and soothe the body, preparing it for stillness, with some guided reflection to support your intentions during the practice. The time and space that follows will be immersed in soothing sounds made from gongs, crystal bowls, chimes and Tibetan bowls to encourage relaxation and focused breathwork. Finally, we will enjoy tea, cacao around the fire in our community garden whilst preforming our Summer Solstcie ritiual which will be guided by Manoj.
What to bring?
We want you to feel at ease. So wear your favourite set of yoga clothes that you find most comfortable. The cabin will be nice and cosy but everyone feels differently, so bring layers to help you to control your body temperature. We have blankets, bolsters, blocks and eye pillows for you to use, feel free to bring anything else you think you may need. We recommend a journal or notebook just in case anything comes up during the session.

A bit about Manoj:
Manoj has been teaching at I AM YOGI for the past 4 years and taught in many different styles. In 2020, he completed a gong training and has become more and more interested in the effects of sound vibrations on the human body.
Recently, he has undertaken a crystal bowl training with experienced teachers based in the UK and Thailand, and has developed an understanding of how breathwork, meditation, yoga and sound are interconnected.

Who is this suitable for?
This Sound Bath is suitable for all. However please contact us, before booking, if you are pregnant or have any health conditions which may prevent you from attending.
