WHAT?
Our class location will alternate between Birmingham Botanical Garden’s Lawn Aviary, where their bird collection is housed, and the Herbaceous Border on the West Lawn is where plants known for their long flowering periods grow!

HERBACEOUS BORDER:
The Herbaceous Border on the West Lawn is where plants known for their long flowering periods grow! We’ll get to enjoy a plethora of colours and smells as we practice. Phlox, penstemon, helenium, salvia, allium, achillea, delphinium and crocosmia are just a few of the familiar summer flowering plants we will get to enjoy here.
THE AVIARY:
During our class we’ll be able to see and hear a variety of birds… Learn all about their collection here
If we’re lucky, we may spot Casey the sulphur-crested cockatoo and Bobo, the blue macaw!
