WHERE are we?

We are in Moseley Park and Pool, Alcester Road, Moseley which is a private park in Moseley village. Access is via the main gate to the Park which is in-between Dixons and Pizza Express on the Alcester Road.

how do I get here?

Walking if near enough; cycling if that’s your thing - we have a bike rack at the back of the studio.

If driving there are a number of car parks in Moseley village:

  • Pay & Display opposite The Dark Horse Pub

  • The Village Pub has a Pay & Display car-park

Do I need a key?

Nope :)

If you sign up for our monthly membership (after the intro offer) you can get a key fob to access Moseley Park as part of our membership package for just a £5.00 refundable deposit. This means you can access the park for yoga classes but also enjoy the beautiful park any time you like, whilst you are a member of the IAY studio.

If you are joining us for a single class, or have a 10-class pass that’s cool - we will let you in and out of the Park. There is a yogi buzzer on the gate which runs through to the studio; tucked behind the far right hand side gate post.

what do i need for PRACTICE?

Willingness :) All mats, props and straps are provided. But you are welcome to bring your own mat.

to book or not to book?

Booking is not necessary, however we would encourage yogis to view our schedule and book their spot on the mat either on the website / schedule tab download the Glofox app and search I AM YOGI. It’s a great way of keeping track of your class schedule and you can also purchase your memberships via the app.

The studio is a no shoe zone ;) We have space to store your shoes, coats, bags etc. while you are practising.

can i get changed?

We don’t have a changing room in the studio; Moseley Park have toilets which are just adjacent to the studio.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class is due to start.

There’s is lots of lovely places in the village to go for a drink (and maybe cake) before / after class, please just ask us if you need any recommendations (we have lots!)

If you are trying to save plastic (every little helps!) and have a water bottle, you can fill up at the studio.
